Limit one vote per person per device per email address per recipe category. Voting period ends on April 15, 2016 at 11:59:59 MT time.
The judging process will take place between April 16 and May 15 in four (4) stages:
- Initial review of all recipes in every category to determine the recipes that meet all entry requirements listed in Rule # 2.
- Selection of top 5 recipes, one (1) from each category PLUS selection of the top 5 highest voted recipes, based on highest number of individual votes.
- Preparation of the 5 category and 5 public voted winning recipes by all 5 judges in their home or professional kitchen to determine the one Grand Prize winner.
- (4) Recipes will be judged by a qualified panel of judges and assigned points based on the following criteria and point system: Creativity (1-50 points); Flavor profile (1-25 points); Appropriateness of wine pairing (1-25 points).
The Recipes with the highest combined scores in each Recipe Category will determine the five finalists (“Finalists”). In the event of a tie, the Entry with the higher “Creativity” score will be declared the Finalist. If Entries are still tied, the Entry with the higher score for “Flavor Profile” will be declared the Finalist. If a tie continues, the tied entries will be re-judged by a new judge using the original criteria. Finalists are subject to eligibility verification.
FINAL JUDGING EVENT: Potential Grand and First prizewinners will be selected on or about May 15, 2016. After the final judging is completed, the Finalist with the most points overall will be declared the Grand Prize winner.
