Spanish Recipes by Nuria www.spanishrecipesbynuria.com
I was born in Barcelona in 1963. I never showed a special interest in the kitchen or the processes that took place there. When I moved away from my parents, I became aware of the magic involved in the preparation of food. Since then, I have read some gastronomy, culinary and recipe books… from Harold McGee’s to Ferran Adrià’s; I have attended a few culinary classes with some prestigious Chefs; I have experienced the best dishes in some of the best Spanish, French and Italian restaurants; and I have a blog on food, travel and photography that reflects my foodie passion. I’m lucky to live in a country that embraces the Mediterranean diet… it’s just natural for us to use a wide variety of ingredients because we have them at the reach of a hand: Fresh, Healthy and Seasonal… that’s my kind of food, my kind of life!
